Billy Hamilton had a lot of expectations put upon him when he began the year in the Reds lineup. After setting the all time stolen base record for the minor leagues, the young Hamilton finished the year tied for second in steals in all of MLB! Anthony Rizzo, Jose Abreu and Giancarlo Stanton are three of the biggest boppers in the league today. Rizzo, the first baseman of the Chicago Cubs had his best season to date, finishing with 32 Home Runs, showing a glimpse of the future for the Cubs fans. On the other side of the city there was another promising power hitting first baseman. Jose Abreu, the phenom White Sox rookie from Cuba, put up some monster numbers in his first season, batting .317, with 107 RBI's and 36 Home Runs. Last but not least, Giancarlo Stanton, the right fielder for the Miami Marlins, continued his power surge through the league. He finished the year with 37 Home Runs, which marked the third time in the last four years that he has bashed over 30 dingers. Returning to the lineup is Robinson Cano, the second baseman for the Seattle Mariners. Cano was the prize of last off-season where the Mariners signed him to a ten year deal. In his first full season with the team, Cano batted .314 (the sixth straight season he has hit over .300), with 14 Home Runs and 82 RBI's while almost taking the Mariners to a playoff berth..
