We are moving to a new model for Organized Play support for Legend of the Five Rings CCG and to kick it off we are offering stores a free Matsuri Kit. Matsuri is Japanese for festival. This style of kit is the format for future OP Kits. Each release moving forward will have a Matsuri Kit to accompany it.

The 2015 Quarter 1 OP Kit signups are live! The 20 Festivals Storyline Demo Event is included in this OP Kit. The Twenty Festivals Matsuri Kit is absolutely FREE for stores to receive! All you need to do is fill out the form and we will ship your kit out through your preferred distributor. Kits will begin shipping with Twenty Festivals product in late March, 2015. We have developed this kit as a thank you for all our great partner stores that support L5R and its players. We look forward to your success running events in your store.

The season of 20 Festivals is a time of celebration in the Empire. As new samurai pass through their Gempukku ceremonies, they too will have the opportunity to leave their mark on the Emerald Empire.

As part of the 2014 Quarter 1 OP Kit, your store will be able to hold a 20 Festivals Storyline Demo Event. The only requirement is that an AEG Demo Program volunteer, known as a Vanguard, runs the event. If you don’t have a Vanguard at your store, we will gladly sign up one of your players or employees with the program!

Every Samurai that participates in the 20 Festivals Storyline Demo Event will be able to choose to support one of the nine Great Clans. The Clan that amasses the most votes, worldwide, will be able to choose one additional Icon to save, just like winners during the Kotei Season. The young Samurai of that clan will have banded together to safeguard the legacy of that clan.

Vanguards will report results in to the Demo Program, as per instructions included in the kit. The winning clan will decide upon its icon through votes on the Imperial Assembly website. Included in the kit will be a primer, introducing the 9 Great Clans to the new players.
