Patrick Roy is most remembered for the four Stanley Cup titles he played a crucial part in for the Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche. Roy was the youngest Conn Smythe winner ever at the age of 20 in the 1985-86 season after an unexpected Stanley Cup win for Montreal. Roy was an extremely fierce, focused and aggressive competitor who stood on his head in numerous Stanley Cup playoffs. The William M. Jennings Trophy is awarded to the goaltender playing for the team with the fewest goals scored against in regular-season play. Roy won the award in 1987, 1988 and 1989. In the 1992-93 season, Roy set a record with ten-straight playoff overtime wins, a testament to his competitiveness.
