"I’ve spent 25 years in senior retail management positions, and I’ve always enjoyed the mix of numbers, people, and problem-solving that comes with it. After graduating from Western with a degree in Economics and Statistics, I started out working for an economic think tank company and then briefly in the stock market before moving into the retail business through Sears Canada’s Corporate Management Training Program in 1996. From there, I worked through a range of Buying, Planning, and Logistics/Operations roles in Toys, Sporting Goods, Leisure, Hardware, Seasonal, Electronics and Video Games categories, with stops at Sears Canada, Toys R Us, The Source, and Mastermind Toys. What I’ve always liked most is helping make things work better and seeing the results — whether that means improving a process, building stronger supplier relationships with focus on service of supply, or making sure a team is aligned and communicating clearly. I’ve found that the best results usually come from keeping things practical, staying open to better ideas, and focusing on what actually works. Outside of work, I’m a big food person. I started cooking when I was young, worked with chefs as a teenager, and I’ve kept that passion ever since. I also love travelling, golf, racquet sports and I still have a soft spot for comics and a good garage sale find!"

In the years since, I have worked at almost every position within the company from sweeping and vacuuming the floors after school to where I am today. "I graduated from York University here in Toronto with a Political Science b.a. in 2003, and found my way to Grosnor about a year later. I had dabbled in the retail side of the industry over the years, but never done anything large scale. As a collector my interests and experience have been all over the card collecting field - from Sports as a kid to Gaming, and most recently Non-Sports. Learning about all of the diverse, and ever expanding, inventory that Grosnor has to offer from action figures to all manner of NHL licensed merchandise, has been an interesting challenge. As Grosnor's bilingual Account Manager for roughly 15 years, my accounts included our french speaking customers. Since joining the management team around 2019, I've continued to manage Grosnor's supply brands and also taken responsibility for various toy and game lines. In my spare time I work to keep Grosnor running as smoothly as possible."

He began his career as a sales representative with the Wilko Group, where he managed several leading toy brands in the Canadian market, including Ravensburger, Cardinal Games, Cranium, Rubik’s Cube, Innovation First (Hexbugs), and Rainbow Loom.
