"With a high level of experience, formerly in Operations and Administration within the Medical field, in 2014 I decided to pursue a different career path. Having studied Marketing Management at Humber College, I decided to expand upon my creative side to pursue Field Merchandising. After 1-year in Merchandising, I was offered an opportunity at Grosnor Distribution Ajax Inc., acting as the primary point of contact for Order Management/Sales Analyses, responsible for some of their key VMI programs. In joining the Grosnor ‘team’, this role has allowed me to take a very ‘hands-on’ approach in my role, while utilizing my background skills. My life away from Grosnor is busy with my husband Rob, our great kids (Kim and Tyler) and my favourite ‘kids’- my rescue dogs Dasher and Jack."
"After finishing my Political Science BA at York University in 2010, I found my way to Grosnor after having worked part time in retail for 10 years and deciding that I needed a change. Since I've been here I've worked in the warehouse, assisted in updating the website with relevant product information and pictures and I moved to the sales department when we completed the move to our new location in September 2011. In 2015 I'm looking forward to my new administrative role, focusing more on pre-orders, the website and our retail programs. While working in the different areas of the company, I've learned all about the numerous lines of product we carry. From cards to collectibles, camping chairs to bacon deck protectors, we have something for everyone no matter what kind of store you have. With all the products that we receive daily, there's always something new and exciting around the corner. Currently, I maintain numerous sections of our website making sure we have pictures and descriptions of all our products. I also manage some of the trading card sections that we have with our numerous retail partners."
