IDW Games sends the Ghostbusters back into action with a new board game this summer with Ghostbusters: Blackout.

Designed by Jon Cohn (Dragon Ball Z: Over 9000, Munchkin Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), the cooperative game has the team pursuing ghosts that escape from the containment field following a citywide power outage. Players roll custom dice (included in the game) to move their Ghostbusters around the city, capture the ghosts, and buy equipment upgrades.

The game includes the game board, 16 hero standees, 10 tokens, 31 item cards, 24 ghost cards, 16 hero cards, 20 custom dice, and the rulebook. The game is for 1 – 4 players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 30-45 minutes. MSRP is $39.99. Expected release date is July 24.
